First things first: who vaping is for
Vaping products contain nicotine and are intended as an alternative for existing adult smokers and vapers (18+). They are not intended for non-smokers, non-nicotine users, or anyone under 18. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a health condition, speak to a doctor first.
What is a “Big Puff” kit?
“Big Puff” refers to the newer generation of prefilled pod kits that replaced single-use disposables. Instead of throwing the whole device away, you keep the rechargeable battery and simply click in a new prefilled pod when the flavour runs out. You get the same grab-and-go convenience as a disposable, but with far less waste and a lower cost per puff. IVG’s PRO, NEXiO and SMART MAX ranges are all Big Puff kits.
The IVG range explained
Here’s how the main IVG families differ, so you can pick what suits you:
IVG 2400 (4-in-1)
A compact device holding four flavours in one, with up to around 2,400 puffs. Great if you like variety and want to rotate flavours in a single, simple device. Ideal for newer vapers.
IVG PRO & PRO 2
IVG’s flagship Big Puff prefilled pod kits. You get a rechargeable device plus swappable prefilled pods, with around 10,000 puffs per set of pods and a wide flavour range. A solid all-rounder for everyday vaping.
IVG NEXiO
Sleek, slimline 10,000-puff pod kits with click-in refill pods. A good choice if you want something pocket-friendly and stylish without sacrificing puff count.
IVG SMART MAX
High-capacity Big Puff kits built for all-day, long-lasting flavour — suited to heavier vapers who want fewer pod changes.

For those using refillable pod kits, IVG nic salts deliver a smooth, satisfying hit in a broad flavour range and various strengths. Great for controlling your setup and reducing cost per ml.
Kit vs refill pods — what do I buy?
- Buying your first device? Start with a kit — it includes the device (battery) and pod(s) to get you going.
- Already have the device? Buy refill/replacement pods on their own to keep it running.
- Always check that the pod matches your specific device — a PRO pod won’t fit a NEXiO, and so on. Each product page lists compatibility.
Choosing your nicotine strength
Under UK law, nicotine e-liquids and pods are sold up to a maximum of 20mg/ml (2%). As a rough guide:
- 20mg (2%) — suits heavier ex-smokers who want a strong throat hit.
- 10mg (1%) — a middle-ground option for lighter smokers or those stepping down.
- Lower / nicotine-free — for vapers reducing their intake.
There’s no single right answer — many people start higher and step down over time. If a strength feels too harsh or too weak, adjust on your next order.
Prefilled pods vs refillable pods
- Prefilled pods (PRO, NEXiO, SMART MAX): come ready-filled, click in and vape, no mess. Easiest option.
- Refillable pods: you fill them yourself with e-liquid or nic salts. More control over flavour and strength, and cheaper per ml, but slightly more effort.
Beginners usually prefer prefilled; experienced vapers often like the control of refillable.
Getting the best from your device
- Charge before first use and use the correct cable/charger.
- Prime a new pod by letting it sit for a minute or two after clicking it in, so the wick soaks up e-liquid — this prevents a burnt taste.
- Store e-liquids and devices out of direct sunlight and heat, and always out of reach of children and pets.
- Battery care: don’t overcharge or expose to extreme heat; charge on a hard surface, not soft furnishings.
Looking after the environment
Rechargeable Big Puff kits already cut waste compared with disposables, but used devices, pods and batteries should never go in general household bins. Take them to a designated electrical/battery recycling point.
